Water consumption and use is of great concern for Watts Premier. In our efforts to provide high quality drinking water while conserving water we have created the Zero Waste reverse osmosis. This Four Stage Zero Waste POU reverse osmosis is a unique system that is unlike any POU RO on the market. Through a patented system, the Zero Waste RO is 100% water efficient, in that it does not send any water to the drain, but instead reuses it with in the home water system. In addition to the water use benefits, the Zero Waste system also has a faster storage tank fill time, increases membrane production, and eliminates the need for an air gap faucet.

The Zero Waste RO consists of a 5 micron particulate pre filter, followed by a carbon block. Water then passes through the RO membrane, and through the final GAC polishing filter. The standard system is equipped with a three gallon storage tank in order to provide water on demand for the home owners. Each system can easily be fitted with higher production RO membrane and larger capacity storage tanks if needed.

Typical operation pressure for a POU reverse osmosis ranges from 40 psi to 100 psi. In the event the inlet pressure in a particular area is less than 40 psi, the Watts Premier Zero Waste system will compensate for this as it is equipped with a booster pump which will provide the necessary differential pressure for proper operation at any influent pressure.

The Watts Premier Zero Waste point of use reverse osmosis system has been certified for the reduction of arsenic V, with an influent challenge of 300 ppb, and achieving a 98.4% removal over the life of the certification testing. The Zero Waste system is NSF Certified for the reduction of cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba, Barium, Cadmium, Copper, Chromium (Hexavalent and Trivalent), Fluoride, Lead, Perchlorate, Selenium, TDS, and Turbidity.
